I live and work in Philadelphia.  I have been making art as a way to process and discuss our relationship with the drug industry – and industry in general.  In Kensington by the railroad tracks-- the drama of the “opioid crisis” plays out in real time, in living color.  Set against a backdrop of constantly evolving tapestry of graffiti.  Set against the backdrop of the railroad. The tracks that scar the landscape—that inform and shape the neighborhood. Industry built this town and then industry abandoned it.  In the void left by the departing factories – vacant and dilapidated buildings.-- and the colorful subculture that has taken root.

My current focus from a craftsmanship perspective is on the framing of a work—so much so that the frame has become very much a part of the work.
